Cold plunge rules and regulations:
Temperature
The water temperature should be between 10–15°C, as colder temperatures can increase the risk of stress on the body.
Time
Beginners should start with a short plunge of 30 seconds to a minute, and gradually increase the time. You can safely work up to 5–10 minutes in cold water, but staying in for longer than 30 minutes can lead to hypothermia.
Recovery
After a cold plunge, you should warm up slowly. You can have warm clothes ready.
Safety
You should not go cold plunging alone, when you're sick, or if you have other medical conditions. People with Raynaud's phenomenon, which causes decreased blood flow to the fingers, should avoid cold plunging.
Fit
Cold plunging is generally safe for people who are reasonably fit and have no history of arrhythmias, high blood pressure, diabetes, poor circulation, or heart problems.
-
The sauna is built to hold 6 people at the same time, but we want everyone to be comfortable so we have decided to stay at 5 people maximum.
